When you insert a card, the computer knows which grid has been inserted and it then provides a crossword puzzle to match that grid.

To play the game simply insert a crossword grid card, select the level of difficulty, then you can play the game by selecting across and down clues.

The unit also allows you to reveal single hint letters if you are stuck. You can also reveal whole word answers or all of the answers for the current grid.
